Course Content
Every year, 1 million babies and young children are taken to hospital after an accident at home.
With advice from the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) We will share top tips and look at simple safety measures for each room in your home.
Children are keen to explore the world around them so we will also look at ways to avoid trips, falls, bumps and bruises in and around the home and out and about.
This course is aimed at parents and carers of babies and young children
This course will be delivered online so you will need access to the internet, an email account and either a PC, laptop or tablet.
You will receive verbal and written feedback throughout the course from your teacher to advise you of the progress you are making.
You will gain knowledge on how to keep your young family safe in the home and have the opportunity to work with other families across North Yorkshire.
You could progress to other courses including ‘How to support your children’s confidence and self-esteem’
