Course Content
This course will explore what assertiveness is and how to be assertive.
You will understand the benefits of being assertive, be able to describe the differences between passive, aggressive and ‘passive aggressive’ behaviours; as well as being able to give examples of assertive behaviour
You must be aged 19 years + with basic IT skills
As this course is to be delivered online, you will require access to the internet, an email account and a sitable electronic device such as a tablet, laptop or PC.
You will receive feedback from your teacher throughout the course and have the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities.
On successful completion of this course you will receive a certificate of achievement.
There are other courses you may wish to progress onto such as 'Recovering your self-esteem'

  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your individual employed/self employed income is below £20,319.
  • If you have not yet achieved a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, you could learn for FREE.
  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
