Course Content
During this course, you will gain an insight into different mental health problems and some of the causes associated with them. You will also learn what qualifications are available in this area and how you can achieve them.
As this course is online, you will require basic IT skills and be aged 19 years or above.
You will require and email address, access to the internet and a suitable electronic device such as a tablet, laptop or PC to take part in the virtual classroom
There will be a range of activities and tasks throughout the course and you will receive feedback from you teacher throughout.
You will gain more knowledge on mental health problems and learn how to achieve a qualification in this area.
Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems.

  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
