This course will give you an insight into some of the causes and symptoms of dementia and will give you information on how you can gain a qualification in this area

Open Entry Requirements

As this course is online, you will require basic IT skills and be aged 19 years and above

You will require an email address, access to the internet and a suitable electronic device such as a tablet, laptop or PC to take part in the virtual classroom

Open Assessment Methods

There will be arrange of activities and tasks throughout the course and you will receive feedback from your teacher throughout

You will gain more knowledge on dementia and learn how to achieve a qualification in this area.

  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your individual employed/self employed income is below £20,319.
  • If you have not yet achieved a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, you could learn for FREE.
  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
