Course Content
During this course you will gain knowledge of what learning disabilities are and what you can do to support someone who has learning disabilities. You will also learn what qualifications are available in this area and how you can achieve them
As this course is online, you will require basic IT skills and be aged 19 years or above
You will require an email address, access to the internet and a suitable electronic device such as a tablet, laptop or PC
There will be a range of activities and tasks throughout the course and you will receive feedback from your teacher throughout
You will gain more knowledge of learning difficulties and learn how to achieve a qualification in this area

  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
