This qualification aims to raise awareness of mental health and a range of mental health conditions. This qualification is designed for anyone that wants to raise their awareness of mental health and the problems that can cause mental ill health. In order to be eligible for enrolment to this qualification, you must attend the free course ‘Introduction to Mental Health Awareness’

You must be aged 19 years or above with basic IT skills

As this course will be delivered online, you will require an email address, access to the internet and a suitable device such as a tablet, laptop or PC to take part in the virtual classroom

  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
