You will require basic IT skills to complete an online portfolio. You will receive support from your teacher with how to do this

You will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities and tasks with others within your class and receive feedback from your teacher throughout

Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care

Open Progression

Level 2 Diploma in Care or other qualifications depending on the career route you wish to take

  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
