Course Content

Visualisation (sometimes referred to as guided imagery) involves creating a detailed mental image of something that is relaxing and peaceful for you. Visualisation techniques can promote a deep state of relaxation that can help with a range of concerns including insomnia, pain or stress management, and promote a sense of calm, wellbeing and positivity.
This course aims to introduce a range of online resources that offer free resources to get you started with relaxation and visualisation. Bring along your headphones to try out some of the stories for yourself during the session if you would like to.
During this course you will:
• Identify free sites and online resources for relaxation and visualisation
• Try a range of guided imagery stories to choose the ones that are right for you
