Throughout this course you will gain the knowledge on what is involved with working in Adult Education and Training and how you can gain a suitable qualification to progress to employment within this sector. You will learn about the variety of learning styles you may come across and the importance of safeguarding, equality and diversity for both learners and teachers.

As this course will be delivered online you will require basic IT skills to take part in the virtual classroom.
You will take part in interactive activities within your class and receive regular feedback throughout.

You will require an email account, access to the internet and a suitable electronic device such as a tablet, laptop or PC.

  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your individual employed/self employed income is below £20,319.
  • If you have not yet achieved a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, you could learn for FREE.
  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
