Course Content

If you are unsure or nervous about learning accounts online via Teams, this course has been specifically designed to go through the features of Teams that are used while studying accounts.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:
1. Switch your camera and microphone on and off during a Teams call
2. Notify the teacher that they wish to speak, have a question or agree with a point using Teams
3. Share your screen with the rest of the group
4. Access web links and documents through Teams & share web links and documents with peers

You will need a laptop or a desktop PC with a camera.
This course will be delivered online using Teams. You will need access to the internet and an Email account. Your teacher will contact you via Teams/ Email, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to group discussions across the County.


Open Assessment Methods


Verbal and/or written feedback will be provided throughout this course.

  • If you have not yet achieved a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, you could learn for FREE.
  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
