Course Content

This course will help you gain knowledge and give you an insight into what roles are available within Health and Social Care and how you can prepare your future within this sector. This course will let you know what online learning involves, how evidence will be provided to support your learning, the different level of qualifications available and how to research and reference evidence.

This course is for anyone aged 19 years and over. No previous experience required though basic IT skills are essential.

You will need access to a Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone. Please bring a notepad, pen or pencil and a small folder for handouts and your work. You may wish to use a memory stick.

Your teacher will give you written and verbal feedback throughout the course.

You will receive a certificate of achievement on succesful completion of this course.

Progress to a career in Health and Social Care by completing a suitable qualification.

  • If you have not yet achieved a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, you could learn for FREE.
  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
