Course Content

This course will give you greater awareness of mental health and what can cause problems with mental health. You will also gain information as to how you can gain a qualification in this area and how this can enhance your knowledge within Health and Social Care

You need to be aged 19 years or above as at 31st August 2022 and possess basic IT skills

As this course will be delivered online, you will require an email address, access to the internet and a suitable electronic device such as a tablet, laptop or PC to take part in virtual lessons

You will take part in a range of activities and tasks and will receive feedback from your teacher throughout

A greater awareness of mental health and what can cause problems in this area.

  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your individual employed/self employed income is below £20,319.
  • If you have not yet achieved a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, you could learn for FREE.
  • Don’t worry if you have already gained a Level 3 qualification, but want to change your career path and try something new – you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan which you start to pay back when you earn over £27,295.
  • From April 2023, some Level 3 courses will be available for FREE to adults who are unemployed or earning below the National Living Wage annually (£20,319), even if you already have a Level 3 qualification or higher.
