Course Content

This course is for beginners or those with only limited flower arranging knowledge or experience, who want to learn the basics of flower arranging. The course will guide you through the essential equipment you need to create flower arrangements at home, the type of flowers to use and how to condition them, plus the basic principles of flower arranging.
The course consists of 6 lessons, 4 of which will include producing a practical flower arrangement. You will create a flower arrangement for a table centre-piece, an arrangement in a tea cup and saucer, a traditional ‘triangle’ arrangement and an arrangement in a container of your choice.

No prior experience required, suitable for all.

You will need to purchase your own flowers and resources ahead of the lesson but you will be provided with full details of what to bring in the lesson before.
You do not need to bring any flowers to the first session but please bring a note book and pen.
The cost of the flowers you need to purchase will depend on the flowers you choose, but will be circa £15 per arrangement.

Informal – the tutor will observe how you progress in your flower arranging and offer help if needed.

You’ll learn the basic principles of flower arranging and create several different arrangements.
