Course Content

The aim of the course is to develop your basic presentation skills. By the end of the course, you should be able to:
• Demonstrate an understanding of presentation use
• Identify the main parts of the PowerPoint screen
• Enter and edit slide content
• Apply basic formatting to slide content
• Work with a variety of slide layouts
• Use graphics to illustrate a presentation
• Present a slideshow

This course is for anyone aged 19 or over.
It is suitable for those who are new to ICT or have a basic understanding. If you are unfamiliar with Zoom, you may wish to enrol on our Get started with Zoom course prior to starting this course.

This course will be delivered online. You will need access to a computer and Microsoft PowerPoint (this is the software which will be used for the course). If you are keen to take notes, please have a notepad, pen or pencil and a small folder for handouts and your work. You will need access to the internet and an email account.

Your teacher will give verbal and written feedback throughout the course.
