Are you keen to extend your skills and explore some of the more advanced Excel spreadsheet techniques? Then this is the ideal course for you! Let us introduce you to a range of exciting analytical tools such as pivot tables and pivot charts. Helpful step-by-step guidance from our specialist teacher will give you the confidence you need to produce highly professional spreadsheets for both work and home.


To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2022 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.

This course is suitable for those who already have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and know how to use ICT in practical situations. It would also be an ideal follow-on course for those who have achieved a Level 2 qualification in the subject.


This course will be delivered online. You will need to have access to a personal computer with Microsoft Office installed and an email account to make the most of the online sessions.




There is no qualification, but you will complete evidence of learning progress with your teacher.
The sessions will be teacher-led, taking different topics each week. You will have an opportunity to learn interactively as a group and consolidate via practical exercises both during and after the sessions. Throughout the course, materials will be offered to support your learning.



You will receive an ALSS certificate of achievement on successful completion of this course.
