Course Content

This course is designed to prepare learners for level 3 qualifications in Early Years and supporting teaching and learning.


To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2023 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.

Learners must have attended the introduction to working with children course before attending or have completed a level 2 qualification with our teachers.


This course will be delivered Online via Teams. To attend the course you will need access to the internet and an email account. You may wish to make notes so will need a pen and paper.


Your teacher will give verbal and written feedback throughout the course.


The skills and knowledge on what is expected at level 3 and understanding of how to reflect on learning and research to develop knowledge and understanding.

  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
