Wellbeing Course 3. ‘Who am I? – the essence of Me: A journey of self-exploration’ is designed to introduce learners to embark on a journey of self-discovery. The course is designed to guide learners through an exploration of their identity, values, passions and purpose. Knowing oneself is a key foundation for personal growth and fulfillment, discovering what matters most. It will be delivered through a combination of teaching, interactive discussions, group activities; and self-reflection. The following topics will be covered: Defining the importance of self-discovery and recognsing the benefits; Identifying personal values and beliefs; Navigating life’s purpose; Embracing authenticity and Integrating self-discovery into daily life.
This will enable learners to have transferable skills, such as, thinking skills, planning and time management, self assessment, and career development.



To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2023 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.


A good basic level of maths and English. No further entry requirements.
Your teacher will give verbal and written feedback throughout the course, and you will create a portfolio of work as a permanent record of learning.

On completion of this course, further wellbeing and accredited courses will be made available to you. You can choose from a range of wellbeing courses such as: 4. Enhance your life – the best possible self-journey; 5. Step into tomorrow - moving forward with self-insights; 6. Assertive living strategies – effective communication; 7. Connection with others – a guide to effective listening skills; 8. Positivity matters – creating a positive work environment. Also, progression to accredited courses such as: L1 Employability. Your teacher will discuss these with you.

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2024)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
