This course is for those who are attending the Bedale Women's group.

Whether you're new to smartphones, tablets, or navigating the internet, this course will empower you with essential skills to confidently use your technology.
In these sessions, you will cover:
Applications on phones/devices
Navigating my device
Navigating the internet
Safety when using these devices

Open Entry Requirements


This course is for those who are attending the Bedale Women's group.

To be eligible for a free funded course you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2023 and not already have a qualification in Digital Skills at Level 2. Further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage; we may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2024)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
