Who am I? is part one of a suite of three courses designed to support learners to understand their strengths and identify areas for development.
During this course you will explore your strengths and unlock the core beliefs and values that make you you!
Armed with this insight as well as an appreciation of the transferable skills you possess you will be best placed to find learning programmes and employment opportunities that best suit you. You will discover how to stay focussed and positive through setting realistic and achievable goals in a step-by-step fashion and develop the ability to create positive change.
Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills that can be transferred from your course to a working environment, your home life or your own personal development.
Skills such as time management, organisation, research skills, networking and presenting ideas are all part of your learning journey along with decision making, problem solving and overcoming obstacles. All these skills will help you to become a confident, self-motivated person and will assist you on your chosen pathway.



To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2024 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact your for further information or refer you to alternative provision. No previous experience is required.


A pen and paper would be beneficial.


Your teacher will give verbal feedback throughout the course.


You will receive an ALSS certificate of achievement on successful completion of this course.

  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
