If you are new to distance learning on Equal with adult learning at North Yorkshire, you will need to attend our introduction to distance learning course.
This is a 2 hour session over 3 weeks in which you will learn about the processes and systems to complete one of our distance learning courses. You will have an induction into Equal and teams educator and learn key skills to get you ready to learn online.

This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of bullying. You will recognise the signs and gain knowledge of the effects bullying has on children and young people. This qualification can take up to 6 months to complete.

Our ‘Distance’ courses allow you to learn remotely without attending lessons in a classroom, which means you can study at your own pace, in your own home at a time that suits you. You will have the support of a specialist teacher who will mentor you during the course.
