Course Content

Wellbeing Course is designed to introduce learners to gain fresh insights, embrace personal growth and confidently move forward into the future with a renewed confidence. Learners will explore their full potential, overcome obstacles, and create a roadmap for a fulfilling and purpose-driven tomorrow. It is ideal for those who want to actively shape their future and create positive change in their lives. It will be delivered through a combination of teaching, interactive discussions, group activities; and self-discovery activities and forward focused strategies. The following topics will be covered: Understanding the role of past experiences in shaping the present; Embracing change and growth; Self-discovery and authenticity; Setting goals for the future; Building a personal roadmap and Cultivating resilience.
This will enable learners to have transferable skills, such as, thinking skills, planning and time management, self-assessment, and career planning.


To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2024 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.


A good basic level of maths and English. No further entry requirements.


Your teacher will give verbal and written feedback throughout the course, and you will create a portfolio of work as a permanent record of learning.


Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills that can be transferred from your course to a working environment, your home life or your own personal development.
Skills such as time management, organisation, research skills, networking and presenting ideas are all part of your learning journey along with decision making, problem solving and overcoming obstacles. All these skills will help you to become a confident, self-motivated person and will assist you on your chosen pathway.


On completion of this course, further wellbeing and accredited courses will be made available to you. Your teacher will discuss these with you.

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2024)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
