Course Content

Social responsibility in business is becoming increasingly important, not only for the environment but also for consumers looking to buy from responsible companies. This course covers a variety of topics including what corporate social responsibility is, a definition of greenwashing and why the triple bottom line is more important now than ever before.

Open Entry Requirements


To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as of 31st August 2024 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live, and we will check that at the enrolment stage. We may contact you for further information or refer you to an alternative provision. You must have a good basic understanding of English, maths and IT. You will be asked to complete a short assessment before this course starts to ensure it is right for you.

Open What Will I Need?


This course will be completed online; you will need access to a laptop or tablet with regular access to the internet and an email account. You will receive a login for our learning platform where your resources will be stored, this will allow you to access them whenever you choose to study.

Open Assessment Methods


This is a short auto-assessed course. Once completed and assessments achieved you will be able to save a certificate for your records.

Once completed and assessments passed you will be able to save and print a certificate of completion.
Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills that can be transferred from your course to a working environment, your home life or your own personal development.
Skills such as time management, organisation, research skills, networking and presenting ideas are all part of your learning journey along with decision making, problem solving and overcoming obstacles. All these skills will help you to become a confident, self-motivated person and will assist you on your chosen pathway.

Progression may include another short auto-assessed course, a taught online course or face-to-face delivery. Options will be discussed with your teacher.

Online Delivery

Helping you financially

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2024)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
