Offering a course titled "Building Your Confidence to Start Your Own Creative Business" can be an exciting and rewarding endeavor. This course would provide aspiring entrepreneurs with essential knowledge and practical skills needed to launch and grow their creative businesses. Emphasis would be placed on building confidence through mindset training and overcoming self-doubt. Participants would gain a clear roadmap to turn their creative ideas into reality, empowering them to take control of their professional futures
As a follow-up, the course "Gathering What You Need to Get Started on Setting Up Your Own Creative Business" would delve into the practical aspects of launching a business. This would include identifying necessary resources, securing funding, and setting up operations. Together, these courses would offer a comprehensive guide to aspiring creative entrepreneurs.




To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2024 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.



To undertake this course you will need to have a creative skill or hobby that you would like to take to the next level in terms of exploring the possibility of turning it into a business or possible side- hustle to earn extra money.


This course is assessed by learners working to individual targets and completing an ILP, monthly tutorials and formative assessment through practical tasks and completion of unit booklets to form n individual portfolio. The learners also have the opportunity to complete accredited CPD courses linked to the course topics through The Skills Network.


A sound knowledge of the steps required to start your own business with an opportunity to achieve additional CPD and certificates relating to this subject.

Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills that can be transferred from your course to a working environment, your home life or your own personal development.
Skills such as time management, organisation, research skills, networking and presenting ideas are all part of your learning journey along with decision making, problem solving and overcoming obstacles. All these skills will help you to become a confident, self-motivated person and will assist you on your chosen pathway.

  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
