We are pleased to invite you to an Introductory Course on Cuckooing and County Lines. This course aims to raise awareness and provide essential knowledge about these critical issues affecting our communities. During this session, you will learn to recognise the signs and impact of cuckooing on vulnerable individuals and gain insights into the operations and dangers of county lines. Your participation is crucial in helping us create a safer environment for everyone.

Following this introductory course, we will offer employability courses designed to empower you with skills and opportunities to strengthen our community. By equipping you with the tools to address these challenges and improve your employability, we aim to foster a supportive and resilient community. We look forward to seeing you there and working together to make a positive impact."




Partner course for Rainbow Centre , Scarborough.

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2024 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.


Pen and paper and a copy of your governance document.


Self assessment and teacher will give feedback throughout the course.


A certificate of completion

Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills that can be transferred from your course to a working environment, your home life or your own personal development.
Skills such as time management, organisation, research skills, networking and presenting ideas are all part of your learning journey along with decision making, problem solving and overcoming obstacles. All these skills will help you to become a confident, self-motivated person and will assist you on your chosen pathway.

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2024)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
