Course Content


During the 3-week course, learners will find out about mindful techniques and strategies and discussions will take place on how mindfulness is used to help individuals. Learners will be using mindful strategies in the classroom and will have the opportunity to see which of these will be the most beneficial for them personally.

We will also discuss the benefits to stress and anxiety which mindful strategies can assist with.

This course is progression from the 3-week Mindfulness course.

To be eligible for a free funded course you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2024 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.


You may wish to bring a notepad and pen for taking notes and a folder to store notes and handouts.

Your teacher will give verbal and written feedback throughout the course.


You will achieve the ability to use mindful strategies and self-care for your own well-being. Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills that can be transferred from your course to a working environment, your home life or your own personal development.
Skills such as time management, organisation, research skills, networking and presenting ideas are all part of your learning journey along with decision making, problem solving and overcoming obstacles. All these skills will help you to become a confident, self-motivated person and will assist you on your chosen pathway.


You will have the opportunity to meet with one of our team who will be able to offer advice on the variety of learning opportunities.

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2024)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
