This course is open only to members of Hutton Buscel Village Hall Group

Explore crafting in a relaxed and welcoming environment in our Craft for Well Being course.
Designed to promote and enhance your mental and emotional health through creative activities. It is tailored for adult learners who are eager to engage and explore the therapeutic benefits of crafting while also discovering a basic understanding of various techniques, giving you the confidence to develop your own creave expression.



This course is open only to members of Hutton Buscel VIllage Hall Group

To be eligible for a free funded course you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2024 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.


Everything will be supplied at your first session.


Your teacher will give regular feedback at interval to allow you to process your learning opportunity.



Emphasis on Wellbeing - Crafting is more than just a hobby; it's a powerful tool for improving wellbeing. Engaging in creative activities can help reduce stress, boost mood, and foster a sense of accomplishment.

Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills which will enable you to express yourself, relax and unwind and feel supported in a safe positive enrvironment.

In addition to the creative skills we offer the gateway to further learning opportunities and experiences.


Other personal and professional development courses will be available to you including a range of accredited courses such as Level 1 Employability, Level 1 Customer Service, Awareness of Safeguarding, Cooking on a Budget, Level 1 Award in preparing to work in schools, Level 2 Team Leading, Level 1 & Level 2 Maths or English. Your teacher will discuss these with you.

Helping you financially

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2024)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
