At the moment every penny counts and every pound matters so join us for a 2 week course to focus on making your money go further.
During the course you will:
• Learn how to cut costs without losing out by investigating best buys, multi buys and buy 1 get 1 free offers.

• Review online vs shop bought item costs, using comparison websites.

• Understand where all your money goes and set a personal budget using simple tools

• Learn about loyalty schemes and how to make the most from them

Throughout the course you will be given helpful step-by-step guidance from your specialist teacher.



To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as of 31st August 2025 and not be an apprentice. Further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check this at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.
No previous experience is required. Basic IT skills are essential for online classes.



For face to face courses please bring a notepad, calculator, pen or pencil and a small folder for handouts and your work.; for online classes you will need access to a Laptop or Tablet. If you don’t have access to a computer or laptop and prefer online learning, we may still be able to support you with our laptop loan scheme.



Your teacher will give verbal and written feedback throughout the course.



Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills that can be transferred from your course to a working environment, your home life or your own personal development.
Skills such as time management, organisation, research skills and budgeting are all part of your learning journey along with decision making, problem solving and overcoming obstacles. All these skills will help you to become a confident, self-motivated person and will assist you on your chosen pathway.



You will be given the opportunity to progress to a functional skills maths course to gain an accredited qualification in maths.

You may want to develop your English skills, digital skills or engage in other inhouse courses

Helping you financially

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2024)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,000
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
