Course Content

The course will help you to improve your knowledge of mental health. This is a mandatory Introduction to course which must be completed prior to progressing to the Level 1 Award oin Mental Health.On this Introduction to course you will: raise your awareness of mental health, gain knowledge of the requirements of the Level 1 Award in Mental Health, Understand the assessment commitments and process.


To be eligible for a free funded course you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2024 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.


You may wish to bring a notepad and pen for taking notes and a folder to store notes and handouts.


Assessed via a portfolio of evidence.

This course can lead to a Level 1 Award in Mental Health.
