Are you passionate about your community? Would you like to work with like minded individuals to complete a project which includes elements of sustainability, crafting and resilience. This is 6 session course using crafts as a basis for a fund raising project agreed by you.

A willingness to try new ideas, work as a small team to achieve a common goal.

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August 2025 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.


This is a face to face class, please bring ID to first session, pen and paper will be provided if needed along with all over resouces.



This is assessed through the gathering of naturally occuring evidence, and written assessments, regular feedback will be given.


You will achieve an EL3 Gateway Certificate in Progression.

By the end of the course you will have contributed to the agreed project and helped build a stronger team working towards a fund raising project, and will have developed valuable transferable skills including decision making, problem solving, networking and research skills.

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2025)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,750
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
