Course Content

This is a 2 week face-to-face course. During the course you will unbox, set up and personalise your own tablet. We'll walk through installing Apps and getting everything ready, let you practise what you have lesarnt at home. yOu can they share how you got on at home, ask questions, and dive deeper into handy features. We'll cover settings, using the camera, and simple troubleshooting so you will feel in control of the tablet.


To be eligible for a free funded course you must be over 19 years of age as of 31st August 2025 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live, and we will check that at the enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.


Your phone, tablet or Ipad.This is a face to face session, all materials will be provided. If enrolling on the day please bring photographic ID and your National Insurance Number.



Your teacher will give you feedback throughout the session.


Throughout your time learning with us, you will also have developed a whole range of skills that can be transferred from your course to a working environment, your home life or your own personal development.

Skills such as time management, organisation, research skills, networking and presenting ideas are all part of your learning journey along with decision making, problem solving and overcoming obstacles. All these skills will help you to become a confident, self-motivated person and will assist you on your chosen pathway.



You will have the opportunity to meet with one of our team who will be able to offer advice on the variety of learning opportunities.

  • English, maths and computing courses (up to level 1) are FREE subject to eligibility (adult learners aged 19+ at 31st August 2025)
  • Reduced course fees for non-qualification courses if you receive a qualifying benefit.
  • Qualification courses at Level 2 or below are FREE if your income is below £25,750
  • Discretionary Learner Support funding relating to cover fees, books etc (qualifications only) T&C apply.
  • Pay for your course in instalments via direct debit (over £100), ask for details.
  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
