The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 become law on 3rd April 2025. The landmark legislation known as Martyn’s Law requires ‘public premises where 200 or more individuals may be present, to be better prepared and have plans in place to keep people safe in the event of an attack.’
This bite-size session will help you to navigate the requirements of the new legislation and what you need to do if you are a group or organisation with events open to the public where 200 or more individuals may be present. The session will:
Identify groups and organisations affected by the legislation
Discuss the tiered approach adopted by the Act
Consider actions that are needed to comply with the legislation

This course is for anyone aged 19 or over on 31.8.25
No previous experience is required. Basic IT skills are essential if you plan to study online.
You may like to have a notebook and pen to create reference notes. All other resources will be provided.

  • 19+ Advanced Learner Loans for Level 3 courses and above – no repayments until you earn over £25,000
