To develop your knowledge and raise awareness of issues around equality and diversity whether in society, the workplace or the community. You will develop knowledge and understanding which can be applied in the workplace and will be of value to employers.
Our ‘Distance’ courses allow you to learn remotely without attending lessons in a classroom, which means you can study at your own pace, in your own home at a time that suits you. You will have the support of a specialist teacher who will mentor you during the course.

You must be over 19 years of age as of 31st August 2023 and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live, and we will check that at the enrolment stage and may contact you for further information or refer you to alternative provision.
You must have a good basic understanding of English, maths and IT. You will be asked to complete a short assessment before this course starts to ensure it is right for you.

This course will be completed online through distance learning; you will need access to a laptop or tablet with regular access to the internet and an email account. You will receive a login for our learning platform where your resources will be stored, this will allow you to access them whenever you choose to study.

You will complete your assignments online which will be assessed by your teacher before going through our quality processes. You will receive regular developmental feedback from your teacher throughout the course. There will be opportunities to take part in live online sessions to meet your teacher and cover topics relevant to your qualifications.
