Course Content

This course will provide an opportunity for you to improve your craft skills (sewing, knitting or crocheting) as well as giving something back to your local community. Our informal classes will also help to improve your speaking, listening and language skills.
During this course you will create items of clothing for dolls and toys, which can be donated to a local charity. For each item of clothing, you will write a short letter or postcard to the child receiving the item, telling of an adventure that the clothing has been through. Let your imagination go wild!
Throughout the course, you will build confidence in in your skills as well as understanding and recognising the need in your local community.
